Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box office star worldwide. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
