Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the most popular Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for another 27 seasons. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. Her first impression was that her job to be intellectually stimulating, however she soon lost interest, and bought a small food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful for 18 years, until she decided to let it go. She then began her first cookbook. Numerous other cookbooks and magazine columns followed. Another hit came from her Food Network Television show. She also sells everything from equipment to cooking tools and storage containers. Ina is an aspiring cook who has not attended a cooking school or been in the kitchen. She is known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining manner. Her most well-known recipes include easy recipes like Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
