Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and was raised by her two parents. Luciana Paoluzzi had a father who retired as an Italian soldier and her mother Maria Rota Paoluzzi. She was also a lover of Benito Mussolini. It's not clear if there were any siblings. Luciana studied at an elementary school in the area before going into the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in the class. Within two years she began modeling. Shortly after that she got a chance to act in Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a friend of her father. Her first marriage was with Brett Halsey who is also an actor. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace in 1960 following their married. Luciana had the custody of Charles who was born on June 13, 1961. They divorced within a year. Luciana was in a relationship with Tony Athony from 1962 between 1962 and 1970. He is an actor/producer who had the idea to create and write this Spaghetti Western hybrid based on the character she played in the film as Green Slime.
