Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and performer. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. She believes that she is the best musician of all. Music, according her, is the first thing she is passionate about. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she reached the age of 12, the music she was playing took on a serious nature and she began professional training. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. From that point on, there's been nothing but positive. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic roots, even though she was raised speaking English only, and did not live in Mexico. By learning Spanish and composing songs, she strives to keep the culture alive. One of her efforts was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia got selected out of an YouTube video and was awarded the judges' four "yes" votes from the judges at the time of live auditions at Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but during the "Hollywood week" she was placed together with three female singers into a trio for remaining auditions. The group was eliminated at the 5th week of the live program.
